The Hoffsicle, and Other Totally Weird David Hasselhoff Merchandise on the World Wide Web

In honour of Gala Bingo launching their superbly kitsch new David Hasselhoff Game, I have hunted out some weird merch dedicated to the big man himself.

The Hoffsicle is a German delicacy, where Mister Knightrider is notoriously very popular on the music scene.

If you want David a little closer to your heart, there's this classy hot water bottle cover for those long lonely nights.

I don't know who Sid is, but he's one lucky guy. What a birthday treat. But who gets to eat the pants?

Then there is this seemingly random giant, foam Hoff hook. It makes more sense when you find out David has starred as Captain Hook in Pantomime.

Harking back to his days with KIT, there's definitely a retro feel to this Hasselhoff paper doll. Nice optional hairy chest piece, Dave.

Want a little more Hoff in your life? Visit Gala Bingo to indulge in their new Hoff Game.

As for me and the Hoff? Well, he isn't really my cup of tea.

Stardust Kids Gangnam Style Hoodie

I've been buying Stardust Kids clothing since my son was born. It was one of the only 'alternative' baby clothing brands five years ago, and the fabric quality was top notch for the washing and rewashing that baby grows need.

Now my son is five and has his own taste in clothing already. He asked me to hunt out a plain red hoodie, pull-over, not zip (fussy!).
When I suggested this www.StardustKids.co.uk Gangnam Style print hoodie, suddenly the idea of a plain one went out the window. It's available in a range of colours and also as a t-shirt.

Ugly Duckling Revamped Furniture

When Ruth & Phill bought their first house two and a half years ago, they couldn't splash out on new furniture for their new pad.
Instead they took to the auction houses & charity shops and made over simple pieces to furnish their home.

They discovered a flair for revamping second-hand furniture & took their new passion to vintage fairs around Northern Ireland. Find them at www.AtHomeWithUglyDuckling.co.uk

Series 2 of The Ministry of Curious Stuff- EXCLUSIVE Behind-the-scenes Photos of Vic Reeves & the Cast

Series 2 of The Ministry of Curious Stuff is well under way on CBBC. I championed the clever, witty children's show last year which is a mix of comedy, sketches & education set in what seems like a corner of Terry Gilliam's Brazil.

This time around my son has completely become addicted to Vic Reeves' & his team's little world. We just have the current episodes on repeat on BBC iPlayer non-stop.

You can find the first six episodes on iPlayer now, or tune in to CBBC every morning at 7.45am
For now, enjoy these behind-the-scenes snaps.

Fattypuffs & Thinifers

I read this book as a child, and the Yellow Submarinesque illustration style stuck in my head. I've spent years trying to search online for clues to what the book was. All I could recall was it was set under ground and had short fat people and tall thin ones.

@BellJarred was talking about childhood library books on Twitter yesterday & I mentioned my long term search for this book that skirted around in my memory.
It was @MoleWife who recognised my vague description and lo and behold, I am reunited with Fattypuffs & Thinifers. Thank you!
