Very British T-shirts. Alternative Jubilee Wear

I saw my Twitter friend @CrazyColours' son Ashton wearing this cool t-shirt for a school Jubilee party.

It's from www.RedBubble.com which I hadn't heard of before, but I'm glad @CrazyColours pointed me in their direction.

Here are some more British style tshirts. Hope you can get all the references.

The World of Kitsch Jubilee Weekend Indie Disco

Hello. The World of Kitsch has got Spotify (3 years after everyone else).

I decided to make a playlist of my favourite songs, which seems to turn up a trend of northern European indie-electro-man-bands. Now you can hear the World of Kitsch!

The fact there is a Royksopp cover of Queen's of the Stoneage on there means you should definitely listen. P.S. Soulwax, make another band album.

Boojum's Mexican Donkey Parade

Boojum Mexican Burrito Bar has a new four legged friend in town; a
life-size donkey statue as a charity parody of the Cow Parade.

Too slow to get his cow suit on to take part in the parade, the Boojum donkey will be alternating between the Botanic
Avenue and Chichester Street restaurants, to raise funds for the work of The Donkey Sanctuary in Mexico.

An important part of Mexican culture, the donkey is essential in poor communities for transporting goods to market and to help families earn a basic living.  Boojum hope that people will come in store and donate any spare change to the animal welfare charity;
funds will be collected in a blue Donkey Sanctuary box.
