Out of Print's mission is to bring classic, often literally out-of-print book covers, and make them into wearable art. The illustrations from the last century make for clever clothing. The material itself is softer than regular tees, as Out of Print want you to be reminded of the feeling of holding a well-worn, favourite book. 

There are dozens to choose from, in men's, women's, children"s and babies'. The book covers are also on sale as phone cases, tote bags and Kindle cases. 

I chose the Fahrenheit 451 print on a ladies' XL tee. I'm a size 14-16 and its a very flattering size and fitting. Why not check if your favourite novel has made it onto Out Of Print's pages?

I've just bought a beauty book. If you knew me growing up as a makeup-less tomboy, you'll know that's the last sort of book I'd ever buy. No, actually, it's more unlikely I'd buy a chick lit, but anyway, I've just bought The Science Bit.  by London-based, long established beauty blogger, Hayley Carr.

I met Hayley at the first ever Cosmopolitan Blog Awards, when I was up for the lifestyle category and she the beauty. We spent the morning together drinking the most expensive tea in London Town, and eating Cosmo pastries and scones. 

Hayley is a really down to earth blogger, no crap from her, and she takes no crap from brands either. If you any you beauty reviews stripped down to the positives, negatives, how-tos, with no BS, then London Beauty Queen is for you.

Hayley also lets me contribute on occasion, giving my spin on how the naive beauty wannabe finds certain products to use.

Handcrafted Wooden Cuckoo Clocks & Figurines from Italy's Demetz Patrick, Because Every Family Should Have an Heirloom.

Today's blog post brings you a website I'm confident you've never stumbled upon before. www.Demetz-Patrick.com is an Italian based studio of highly skilled wood carvers. They not only produce cuckoo clocks, but statues, chess pieces and bespoke commissions, all created from scratch.

The cuckoo clock's struck a special chord with me. My first conscious kitsch purchase when I had my first flat was a bright pink, plastic cuckoo clock. When The World of Kitsch started to get popular, I celebrated by buying a very modern black, metal cuckoo clock.  My Gran owned one of these type, the classic, highly detailed wooden version. I think that's what I would ultimately love to own. I wish I'd inherited her's, as they make fabulous heirlooms to pass down through the generations due to their worth. A handmade clock is even more valuable, and will intrigue children and grandads alike.
