Twitter Acquires Posterous? I Want to Acquire These Hashtag Necklaces!

Twitter has bought up Posterous. Not too sure what this means yet for The World of Kitsch, which has proudly & handily been sailing upon the steady ship Posterous since it's inception.

I dread having to export my blog elsewhere, basically because I'm not very tech minded. This is the reason I use Posterous in the first place, it's so easy.

Anyway, a chance to share local lady Grainne Maher's snazzy hashtag jewellery. www.PluckandDevour.com Super cool brand name too, rarrrr!

Kitschy Twee Mothers' Day Crafting with TescoMagazine.com

My son & I have been busy today, apart from our charity shop haulage, we also got sticky crafting this Mothers' Day gift box.

Traditionally our crafting attempts have been hit & miss. You may recall the disastrous, deformed paper nativity set. Luckily this make came with a tutorial video which you can follow here-

Thinking of getting on eBay for some flamingo print tissue paper for a very kitschy version.

Bargain Sunburst Clocks- Charity Shop Haul

Hello! I've been after a sunburst clock for a few years, but have only seen them at vintage fairs when I couldn't afford to treat myself.

Found these clocks today in the same shop, £2 each. One is working, the other doesn't have batteries in it, but I assume will work.

Also bought this baby toy from 1979 for 50p for my vintage toy cabinet. It plays 'Small World'.
