Sylvac Green Rabbit

Perhaps someone could help me on this. I've been looking to pick up a Sylvac green rabbit for a while now, and couldn't believe my luck that this huge one was £3 at the car boot sale today.

I'm not sure if it's an actual Sylvac, as it just says Made in England on the bottom, does anyone know the history of these bunnies?
