Soap & Glory Modern-retro at it's best
/
I have a very addictive, fickle collecting nature with brands. One month I was obsessed with sushi to the point where I can't eat it any more. Twitter pals have said I should get commission from Starbucks & Apple for how much I promote their products through my wittering on about them. This past month, my brand of obsession has been Soap and Glory. A UK based cosmetics brand, who sell through Boots, and have some products available through Target stores in the US. The packaging isn't the reason I like the brand, oddly enough, but IS why I can include it in this blog.
They use beautiful, quirky vintage photos of wholesome girls to promote their products, which is a refreshing change from the models we see advertising everything else. While the brand has a retro feel, it's most definitely a modern version, rather than a true to period, straight reproduction such as the vintage M&S packaging range.
