Sew Easy Classes
/I feature tons of cool sewing, embroidery & cross stitch on The World of Kitsch, but it's my secret shame that I can't even sew on a button.
This is going to change however. I'm taking a one day course called Sew Easy in March, where absolute beginners like myself can catch up with the basics.

"The workshop takes you from Beginner to Savvy Stitcher in just one day. We will teach you basic stitches and simple sewing techniques and at the end of the workshop you will be taking home a needle case and an applique picture all made by you! You will also know how to sew on buttons properly and shorten and hem a garment.
We provide all the materials and also supply you with a Beginner's Sewing Kit which is yours to keep at the end of the day.
The workshop is limited to 12 places, runs from 10am to 4.30pm on a Saturday, or from 6-9pm over 2 evenings in consecutive weeks. We provide tea, coffee and biscuits in the morning and afternoon, and a light lunch at the Saturday workshops, and tea, coffee and biscuits at the evening workshops."
