Northern Ireland- Edgy Design Showcase Competiton

I found out about this event yesterday, so excuse the copy and paste job, but I'm busy trying to put together something myself to enter, as this is the last day!

Should be an interesting showcase, and a great opportunity to get your designs on show.

"To celebrate the launch of the new West Coast Cooler Citra, West Coast Cooler is searching for up-and-coming designers and creators of beautiful things to take part in the ‘Citra Showcase’ – an exclusive exhibition highlighting the very best in innovative, edgy design talent.

The brand is hoping to attract creations from graduates and undergraduates – as well as newly established designers and design businesses in the fields of fashion, textiles, interiors, jewellery, accessories and millinery.  The eye-catching showcase will be displayed in Urban Outfitters, Victoria Square, from mid-May, and an unveiling event of the top 15 fabulous designs will taken place at the start of June.

The edgiest, most innovative piece will be selected as the Citra Showcase Winner in early June and then be sold, in limited edition, in Urban Outfitters itself. The winning designer will also benefit from mentoring and marketing advice to help turn their design talents into commercial reality.
