It's a complete honour to be painted by my favourite kitsch artist Dan Lacey. The man not only cleverly depicts current news items & Internet memes, but does so with skill and amazing talent.
His work has appeared on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, and his meme work was commissioned for Google's Tokyo offices.

Vintage Fisher Price Toys- Advent Calendar, Things from my Home

I have three cabinets of collectables, one of which is my vintage toy collection. Handpicked Collection, an award winning UK online gift store, sent me this super duper Fisher Price reissue of their 1960s' record player.

I'm being a bit of a pain & keeping it in its packaging, which is annoying my son no end, as he wants to play with it. I just love the retro packaging and want to display it as it is.

Handpicked Collection also have the retro tv, phone on wheels & teaching clock. All beautifully packaged and bursting with nostalgia.

The World of Kitsch Advent Calendar - Stuff from my House

Daily you can open the little door on The World of Kitsch advent calendar and peek inside my cabinets of wonders. Today it's my shell ornaments, including the atrocious deer/shell knickknack that I felt compelled to buy at a car boot sale after the seller caught me taking a photo of its grossness.
