Henry Hoover Birthday Cake

It was my son's 4th birthday party today, and because he's an odd one, a bit like his mum, the cake subject was unusual.
He's been obsessed with vacuum cleaners since he was tiny, and has a collection of toy ones, and real ones.

We had Leah, @cakesandbakes make this tremendous Henry Hoover cake for his party, and he was over the moon.

The moment I saw this dress in the autumn window display of Monsoon, I was in love.
The cut, colour, fabric, I knew it would be my perfect Christmas party dress.

I tweeted the lovely Brooke at Monsoon and she was ever so kind to send me one out, so I can spend the winter adorned in mustard.
