Nautical Swords 1960's Cocktail Cabinet

It breaks my heart that I've no room for this kitsch cabinet; maybe one of my readers will want it & adopt it for me.

It's a classic display cabinet from the 60's with golden decorated glass doors. The pattern includes, rather unusually, large swords, with sailing ship ensignia.

It's in a charity shop in Carrickfergus and is only £30. Someone give it a good home!

Space Age Transparent Decorative Table

When Ikea opened in Northern Ireland a few years back, this little 3 legged table was one of the first things I liked.
At the time didn't buy it, and I thought they didn't have them any more, so I was pleased to find the ex-display one in Bargain Corner for £7.50

I'm using it in a sixties' style as a plant stand, and plan on filling the see-through section with gaudy fake flowers.

GIANT Ridgway Homemaker Plant Pot

> I've been growing a watermelon plant from seed, but planted it late in June, so now it needs repotted but will fair better indoors as a pet-plant.
> > I had made little Ridgway Homemaker pots before, and the lack of seeing any eye-catching pots in the garden centres led me to just make a giant one this time too.
> > Ikea plain white pot, black marker.
> Here is a mid-way through, and after photos.
