Some people have an insane party when their parents leave them home alone, house-sitting. My brother instead dresses the entire house like a Harry Potter mini-castle & invites his friends round for themed games, sweets and drinks. It was my son's 4th birthday party today, and because he's an odd one, a bit like his mum, the cake subject was unusual.

Happy Birthday to the late Mary Blair, my favourite Disney artist. The woman behind concept art for many of the early classic films. Mary also designed the feel of the It's a Small World ride, lots of Epcot's styling, and the huge mural inside Disney's Contemporary Resort.
