Wayne Hemingway Plastic Umbrella

This nifty little umbrella designed by Red or Dead's Wayne Hemingway, is only £10, you know I love a bargain.

You can get one at any Harvey Nicks, when you buy a 500ml of Coke. Coca-cola are always teaming up with fashion and beauty brands, I especially love their Nails Inc. promotions.

The umbrella is part of their launch of the first ever 100% recyclable drinks' bottle. Maybe thats why the print is so Green.

Michael J Fox Nike Abstract by Dan Lacey

Now established as one of my favourite artists, here is Dan Lacey's latest work.
Last week Nike announced they will be  releasing replicas of Marty McFly's trainers in Back to the Future 2.

Lacey's painting is a response.

"The shoe is symbolic of Parkinson's Disease. It is merged to Michaels' head, it blocks his view of the future. It does not envelope the left side of his face which represents the past.  The pancake which I use in many of my paintings is here symbolic of Michael's thinking process.  It rests upon an abstraction."
