Stumbled upon these on eBay this week. 1/12th scale wooden models of retro arcade games machines.

A dozen different classic games handmade by seller lionheartbcw.
I wish there was a Terminator 2 machine one.

When I started The World of Kitsch every post was an item from my own home. Once I'd gotten through the hundred or so tacky items, then the blog went on to become what it is now, the best of the worst I find from all over the Internet.

I've been busy rearranging today so my prized boat bar can sit alongside the 1950's plant stand, so here is a picture of my living room now. Not only do I love blogging this stuff, I also live amongst it!

My friend Leah from over at http://www.cakesandbakesni.wordpress.com/ was in Carlingford at the weekend and spotted an antiques shop with lots of kitsch goodies.

I love these Fiesta jugs, would be lovely to theme a kitchen around this colour scheme.

Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition at Culloden Hotel

We went along to The Culloden Hotel this afternoon to check out their huge outdoor sculpture exhibition.
My father-in-law Michael Smyth has two pieces, a bronze goat and a terrier.

If you're passing Holywood it's worth stopping for a walk round the beautiful gardens. Entrance is free and the exhibition runs until 22nd May.
