Yee-haa! Vintage Cowboy Glassware

I'm not sure what decade these originate from, but they are quite cool.

Pleasure Cruise Decanter

This is fantastic. Keep your spirits ship-shape & your shot glasses by the starboard bough!

Although it looks like something Barbie would whizz around in, this is an adults only toy, with a bottle to keep your brandy in inside the cabin.

Shabner Sexy Seventies Vixens

Along with Tretchikoff & J H Lynch, Shabner liked to paint saucy ladies for mass distribution.
I especially like the flame-haired minx, who was selling for over £80 on eBay, last time I checked.

Tretchikoff Era Trend for Exotic Ladies

The mass produced Tretchikoff prints of the 60's and 70's brought about a trend of ornaments depicting exotic women.
Some of the pieces are quite questionable, but some, like the table lamp below, are actually quite beautiful as well as top marks kitsch.

Poodles, Kitschest of Dogs

I've always wanted a blue rinse poodle, but I think it wouldn't be an easy family pet.

Freakish Taxidermy Saturday

I'm thinking of making Saturday a weekly post rounding up the current freakish taxidermy on eBay.
There are always interesting items on there, so from now on Saturday is Scary Stuffed Things Day.

This week I've found a two headed duckling, a shark, a skeletal otter family and a good ol' classic mongoose battling a cobra.

The disgusting looking piece is an ostrich foot, which incredibly has half a dozen bids on it and is already at £46. Totally turns my stomach, and that's saying something.

Living Room Snapshot

Hello folks, home from London but have lost all the photos and videos I hadn't uploaded, due to my iPhone crashing & needing a full restore.

I need to trawl eBay for some gems for you, but in the mean time here are two snaps of how I've the kitsch arranged at the moment.

Sleazy flamingo & super-retro hearth decor.

Kitsch in a crypt

Found it, low on battery.
Not sure if crypts have sockets.

Will take pics and upload at hotel!
