The other item is a tiny vase for a single stem, adorned with atomic era doodles.

Large Replica K9 from Dr Who

£1 at car boot sale. Around 1/4 size of the real K9 from the series.
My brother is the big Dr Who fan, since the early 1990's, but I've always had a soft spot for his doggy companion.

He really needs to make a comeback (as his original self, not dolled up like those ipod Daleks) as Matt Smith would be excellent with him.
I'm also hoping for a 'The Two Doctors' story with Tom Baker & Matt Smith in the coming years.

Nautical Swords 1960's Cocktail Cabinet

It breaks my heart that I've no room for this kitsch cabinet; maybe one of my readers will want it & adopt it for me.

It's a classic display cabinet from the 60's with golden decorated glass doors. The pattern includes, rather unusually, large swords, with sailing ship ensignia.

It's in a charity shop in Carrickfergus and is only £30. Someone give it a good home!
