KFC Valentine's Cupcakes

A few weeks ago I featured a cupcake company who made some cool fast food themed buns.

Our friend, and official birthday cake maker for our son, Leah spotted the post & conspired with me to make a batch so I could give them to my husband for Valentine's.

Leah is a genius- they turned out scarily realistic. Even in real life, once you KNOW it's a bun, the corn & the beans still throws you off.

More of Leah's work, and details if you'd like to contact her, can be found at http://cakesandbakesni.wordpress.com/

And what did I get for Valentine's? Something furry of course.

Fox in a Box

1. How had I not seen this M&S Christmas cookie before now?
2. Why did no-one else send me one for Christmas?!

Henry Hoover Birthday Cake

It was my son's 4th birthday party today, and because he's an odd one, a bit like his mum, the cake subject was unusual.
He's been obsessed with vacuum cleaners since he was tiny, and has a collection of toy ones, and real ones.

We had Leah, @cakesandbakes make this tremendous Henry Hoover cake for his party, and he was over the moon.
